1. Dry Mix Powder Ingredients
Mix the baking soda, citric acid, and Epsom salts in the mixing bowl. The baking soda and the citric acid are the base of the bath bombs. They create the fizz of a bath bomb. These two are available at the local supermarkets. The citric acid is usually in the canning section.
Epsom salts can soothe tight and achy muscles. Epsom salts are available in most groceries and pharmacies, either in the first aid section or the bath section.
2. Wet Mix Coconut oil and Egyptian Musk Fragrance Oil
In a separate bowl, mix the coconut oil and the Egyptian Musk. Fractionated coconut oil (FCO) moisturizes the skin. However, Egyptian Musk has a rich, woody, and musky fragrance. It has a relaxing and soothing effect, especially when used in bath and body products.
You may also use or combine different tones of floral fragrance as it matches the woody and earthy tone of musk. If you want to check what oils pair with your fragrance, check out our Fragrance Wheel blog.

4. Spritz a minute amount of water
Use the spray bottle to add water if the mixture becomes too dry. Lightly spray water one at a time. Continue mixing until the mixture holds together. It should feel like wet sand.
Fill the metal molds with the mixture. There are many molders available in the market. You can use different shapes but of course, let’s make the bomb a conventional shape of a bomb. Press tightly.
6. Remove slowly from the molder
Remove the bath bombs from the molds and let them sit at room temperature overnight to dry and harden.
7. Ready, set, and pack!
After 24 hours, store them in a container that is ready to use. You can add them in a tightly sealed mason jar or a regular glass container.
